With 8 years of experience in the field of corporate and commercial practice, Abdul Manan has undertaken restructuring of various multinational and local corporate groups in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Advised clients/in-house in relation to inter alia corporate strategy, corporate finance, assisting transition companies and structuring the merger and/or acquisition.

Abdul Manan has undertaken legal due diligence in connection with the proposed divestiture or acquisition of strategic shareholding for clients in companies pertaining to financial sector, pharmaceuticals, cement, oil and gas, telecommunication and energy.

He has represented clients at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Competition Commission of Pakistan and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums.

He has headed and managed the legal department of a Group of Companies-Responsibilities include provide legal advice the Chairman of the Group and heads of other departments on various legal and corporate matters, preparation of legal opinions on various corporate and commercial matters, drafting, vetting and negotiation of agreements such as property sale, lease and rent agreements, shareholders and share purchase agreements, escrow agreements, and all general corporate commercial agreements as required. Overseeing the setting up of new offices and group restructuring in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
