Tokyo’s international background helps her fit right into the Kemp melting pot. She began her legal studies in the UK and returned to Hong Kong for her postgraduate studies and training. A varied and demanding caseload gives her broad and deep experience in Corporate Finance and M&A, Capital Markets and Regulated Acquisitions and Takeovers. She is dedicated to meeting specific needs of her clients with their best interests at heart.
When not working or raising a glass to that hard work with her colleagues, Tokyo is a serious hiker and a culture-vulture. Hong Kong’s trails and arts scene will keep her busy after hours for years to come.
The secret of getting ahead is getting started.

Interview
What sets you apart as a lawyer?
I’m a good listener - it helps me to appreciate the genuine needs of clients and identify the relevant issues quickly. Together with my technical knowledge and skills, I am able to offer tailor-made and practical advice.
What’s the best part of your job?
I enjoy working on a variety of cases every day, which gives me a holistic view of different areas of law. It also gives me a great sense of accomplishment knowing that my client and I are working towards a common goal.
How would you pitch KEMP to a stranger you met in an elevator?
We are a tight-knit firm, global in reach but born and bred in Hong Kong. Whatever your needs are, feel free to chat with us over a drink at the Penthouse – it’s on us!
