Giulia is a Partner at M.B. Kemp and heads the firm’s International Compliance Department, advising international private groups and state-linked entities on complex cross-border regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters. Her practice covers anti-bribery and corruption, AML, fraud, cybercrime, AI-related compliance, and corporate governance.

She has particularly strong expertise in privacy and data protection, with a clear focus on the GDPR, supporting multinational groups in harmonising global compliance frameworks with local legislation. She acts as Data Protection Officer (DPO), designs data-governance and AI-governance systems, and manages issues relating to data transfers, confidentiality, legal privilege, and regulatory disputes, including contentious proceedings before supervisory authorities or in cases of compliance breaches.

Giulia also designs and implements global compliance programmes, conducts and oversees internal and forensic investigations, and advises on remediation, disclosures, and engagement with regulators across Europe, the UK, the US, the Middle East, and Asia. She is an Adjunct Professor of Cybercrime Law at the Polytechnic of Milan, holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Law, and is recognised internationally for her publications and speaking engagements.
