There are milestones that belong to deal sheets, and milestones that belong to life. The ones that belong to life are the ones that matter most.
This weekend, our team came together in Milan to celebrate the wedding of one of our colleagues. It was not a firm event in any official sense — no agenda, no client dinner, no transaction at the end of it. It was simply a group of people choosing to mark an important moment together, because that is what you do when you are genuinely a team.
Everyone showed up at their best: elegant, composed, and visibly happy to be there. The photograph from the evening is not something that requires a caption. It shows a group of people who take pride not only in the work they do, but in how they show up for one another outside of it.
“At Kemp, people are at the heart of everything we do. This weekend reminded us of it in the most meaningful way.”
We spend a great deal of time talking about what makes a law firm exceptional: the quality of the advice, the depth of the expertise, the strength of the network. All of that matters. But what makes a firm a place where people want to stay — where the best professionals build long careers — is something simpler and harder to manufacture: it is the sense that the people around you genuinely care
| Excellence We bring the same care and attention to how we show up for one another as we bring to our work. | Teamwork A team that celebrates together is a team that works together. The two are not separate. |
| Humanity Success is not only about professional achievements. It is about honouring the moments that define a life. | Loyalty When someone at Kemp celebrates a milestone, we are there — without being asked. |
One shared message: at Kemp, we support our people in everything they pursue, whether that means standing alongside them at the most important day of their lives, or following them from five cities as they chase an Olympic dream.
Congratulations to the newlyweds. We could not be prouder to call you colleagues and friends.
